Hello,
I've been searching for a Freeware Vector based imaging program with little
success.
I've tried Sodipodi but it have found it quite unstable.(isnt supported on a
win98 machine).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my stats:
win98
500mhz
265mb ram

Thanks kindly
Joe.

Depending on the things you wish to do with this kind of programs, maybe
EVE is worth a try:

It is an amazing piece of programming skills. But Barry Kauler isn't the
author of the first considerable book on Windows Assembly Programming for
nothing. ;-)

Hi Joe

Many apps are listed here:

Zoner Draw 3 is Pricelessware - I use and like it (Win 98), Serif
DrawPlus is well liked, Drawing for Children gets rave reviews (I keep
meaning to try it).

Drawing for Children is one of the few programs I rate a 10. If you have a
little one that can click a mouse, it absolutely rules.

I would say: give Inkscape a shot. It is based on Sodipodi, and I
find it more useful for my purposes than Sodipodi.

NOTE: it's currently at version 0.39, so I won't guarantee you that
it will be rock-stable on your system. However, on my Win2K system
here, I still haven't had any crashes or other weirdness happening.

Thanks to all for your responses, I'll definately try some of the progs
suggested in this thread. DrawPlus i'm testing as i type this.

thanks again.......

I'll second that,I'm neither artistically or technically gifted but
this program works well for me.
