ECCO will create calendars, phonebook, and outlines in numerous
formats. These formats include proprietary desk and "pocket"
(trenchcoat pockets, that is) planners. It also prints on
different regular paper sizes, both US and international standard
pages. I've also been able to create my own: a double-foldout
for the small 6-hole pocket Day-Timer (the only one I've ever
seen that will fit a real pocket). I just checked and didn't see
your product listed by name in the long default print menu (it
may be there under a different name or you may find that another
product with almost identical dimensions will work perfectly for
you).
By the way, the small Day-Timer I mentioned is their only product
that uses a standard page; I used to get blank pre-punched paper
for it at Woolworths. You have to buy these directly from
Day-Timer.
I've only suffered two drawbacks with ECCO:
- I've been using ECCO for a long time, and I've never been able
to figure out how to retain my print defaults reliably. I
struggle almost every time, eventually getting a decent page.
- I've been having some problems with vertical lines of calendars
dropping out when I print them on my Okidata 12i printer at my
usual resolution (works fine set to 300 dpi).
This is a truly impressive program, probably the most powerful
and flexible Personal Information Manager ever released. Check
earlier posts here for ups and downs regarding how to download
it. I have used three versions of the software and it has simply
never lost data or crashed on me.
I cannot understand why the company abandoned the program: it had
rave reviews and was considered the best ever. I would be willing
to pay for it; I'd love to see it brought current. Incredibly,
I'm able to use it with my Pocket-thing (Palm OS), even though
ECCO predates the Palm company!
Try it and let us know if you could get the printout you want.
