Hi all !
Here's the plot :
I have about a hundred pictures :
******** ******** ******** ********
* * * * * * * *
*pic001* *pic002* ... *pic099* *pic100*
* * * * * * * *
******** ******** ******** ********
All pics have the same size, same resolution...
I'd like to assemble automatically the pictures 2 by 2 and, so, create
about 50 new pics, like that :
**************** ****************
* * * *
*pic001 pic002* ... *pic099 pic100*
* * * *
**************** ****************
Is there a freeware that could do that ?
Thanks !

Cordialement,
Hervé LOTH

Any graphics program with cut-and-paste features should allow this, if
you are clever.

Try the "Create Panorama Images" and "Save Selected Thumbs as an
Image" tools in IrfanView. <http://www.irfanview.com>

Even the MSPaint program that comes with Windows can do this, by
adjusting "Image Attributes" then using "Paste From" and dragging the
second image to its desired location. MSPaint does not support jpeg
files unless you have MS Office or MS Word installed, but jpeg support
can be added separately:

My mistake : I'd like the app to do that by itself (batch option) : take
the 2 first files & assemble, then the 2 next, etc.

If you don't feel scared by a command line, you could try
ImageMagick
