Hallo,
I test straight power grave. I can not load the Haeder. The error message
always comes: 500 syntax error or unknown COMMANDS. The assistance of PG is
not good. On the homepage of PG I do not find an information. Someone knows a
greater help.

Have you downloaded the groups list from the server?

Have you selected groups you are interested in?

Then you select a group or groups and press the scan button.

Then you press the start button.

To view the headers when they are downloaded, double click on the group
name.

The help file of Agent has two possible explanations for error 500...
perhaps it is helpful:

500 Command not Recognized

Your news server is not configured to handle a command issued by Agent
(usually the XOVER or the XHDR commands for retrieving information about
messages). Agent requires that the server accept one of these commands.
You will need to contact your service provider and see if they can
provide a server that honors these commands.

500 Error trying to connect to server

This error means that Agent is attempting to log you into your news
server, but your server doesn't actually require a login. Go to the
User tab of the User and System Profile dialog box and uncheck the
"Server requires authorization login" box.

I made the test, how you wrote.

I have check it = o.k.

Odd.

I assume you can get headers with NewsPro?
And have you tried using PowerGrab to access a different newsfeed?

It might be an idea to ask in alt.binaries.news-server-comparison, where
there are some competent news people.
news.software.readers might be worth a try also.
Provide the additional information you have given in this thread.
