Thanks to all; I had Easy Cleaner 1.74; didn't know it was a disk cleaner
(thought just for registry entries) nor that there was a new version, but
got it updated to 2.0 now.

BeClean looks like a nice app, and so I've d/l and installed it too. Thanks
to everyone.

Just a small pointer: if you're using BeClean, and *don't* want it to scrub
all your cookies by default, then in Settings/Internet make sure to
*uncheck* the box for Internet Clean: Temporary Internet Files and Cookies.

Wrong!

Easy Cleaner is indeed freeware ... and, of the quality and premise we
understand in a.c.f. Try Pricelessware to get your copy.

Afaik the recommended alternatives are NOT secure disk cleaners, i.e.
deleted files (and TOC) can be (partly) undeleted. What's wrong with
Eraser anyway?

OK. I don't know the story. Actually, there are times when I
really want to pay for software. After all, a gifted programmer
who turns out a truly usable, well-crafted work of code, deserves
support!

This kid's site is very impressive. I hope that he rides his
'bike safely!

As a user of Toni Arts Programs for years I find your comments to be not only
ignorant but rude and obnoxous. Easy Cleaner is a free program that can be of
great help to your computer.

The reply from Susan Bugher to the the above post was:

The link posted here that I followed was, in fact, to an
alternative site. That site imposes a fee for downloading. This
should satisfy your assumption that I'm ignorant.

With Susan's helpful correction, I found the "right" site and
read all the pages. This is a really impressive body of work from
a 14-year-old boy!

As far as my being "rude and obnoxious," all I can say in my
defense, Kjolemore, is that I used to be conceited, but I am now
perfect.

disk cleaner 1.5.1 , all plugins and main program in one file only 368
kB.
cookiemanager as well as cleaner, tempcleaner, ie-history cleaner,
opera-history cleaner, acdsee-historycleaner, zone-alarm logcleaner,
winzip-recent cleaner, agent newsreader cleaner, lots of more
features, does the job quick and good, love it.
