Hi Everyone,
I've been very busy and am trying to catch up on things here. I
understand that there's a freeware cd available from some of the posters
here at ACF! I am in the process of setting up a bulliten board system
(BBS) on telnet called Windows Ware BBS and I would love to have a copy
here so that I could offer each and every file for immediate download
from my files area. Could someone get in touch with me via e-mail with
more info please?

Thanks,

Cheers,
Buzzy :)

The .iso of the CD is available here:

What city are you in?

In adition to that mirror for the ISO the torrent is still up. More
information about using Bittorrent is in previous posts (search ACF in
Google groups for iso torrent).

Thank you again to all of the generous seeders out there. There are 2
seeders now and 6 leechers. 216 downloads have completed through the
torrent and 398.590 gigabytes of data have been transferred from
computer to computer! :)

I see that you promote Pricelessware on your site..
I believe you refer to their CD?

Thanks Susan and everyone else involved in this. I'm grabbing it right now!

Were you thinking of offering people some of the files, or the full
ISO, for downloading ? Either way I am sure it would probably interest
a few of the readers here.

Regards, John.

Excuse me John,

I was under the impression you had bi-directional hi-speed
access. We're you going to up the ISO to ABF?

Hi John,
I'm going to be loading it onto my telnet bbs for the option of
downloading individual files rather than the whole iso. It will take me
a while as I don't believe there are many that contain a file_id.diz
file for descriptions, so I'll have to input them manually. I have to
watch my bandwith going both ways, or else I would offer the iso.

What program are you using for your BBS? Also, your mtelnet link 404'd on
me.

I'm using Synchronet 3.11a. The link to their site is on the bottom of
the BBS info page. Oh, and I've fixed that link. Thanks for the heads up!

Buzzy :)

'Preciate it.

Well, I could, but over 500MB of files would be a huge number of
posts. I would doubt that they would all arrive on local news servers.
That's why http or ftp access is much more sensible.

Regards, John.

Must confess: I think I confused Johns. My bad, sorry. :(
IIRC, there was a John who visited here who had fiber to his
location, Japan?

Not sure that other john still visits here.

Perhaps it is John De Hoog.
And perhaps, he might consider posting the ISO to ABF.

Mr. De Hoog. If you are reading this.
What say ye?
Will you up the pw2004.iso to alt.binaries.freeware?
