There's a lot of redundancy in that description and some vague claims.

I personally use a batch file with a shortcut assigned to it to delete
caches, temporary files and cookies. Also, you can use Empty Temp Folders:

As for having that done automatically upon browser exit, I personally
prefer doing that on demand. However, you can use a program like Batchrun:

to set up a batch file that shuts down your browser and runs an
autoclean batch file like I refer to.

To *detect and remove* (not simply block) sypware and adware "computer
pests", I use Ad-Aware:

and Spybot S&D:

As for duplicate files, you should be careful removing duplicates
because some programs are depend on verious .dlls being in specific
locations. You can easily make a program stop working; that's been my
experience.

It would be helpful if you could list the features of the second
program that you feel you really need.

Here in this group we run into this situation frequently where an OP
is kind of looking for an exact feeware equivalent to a commercial
program. That's not always possible because the more a program is
capable of doing, the less likely it is that there is another program
capable of matching it feature for feature. And that doesn't discount
the notion that an alternative program might have additional features
that the $ware program doesn't have.
