Hi:

I was wondering if there is a freeware (PC Win XP) app out there that can
create a Virtual Reality 360 degree Panoramic view..

Ulead has a product like that out (pay/comercial) and Quicktime has a QTVR
app out (for mac).. but I am looking for a TRUE freeware app that'll do this
out of pictures.. (IE stand at a lake and take my surounding pictures and
make a 360 degree navigatonal scene)..

Thanks again Guys

Found here and it's free http://www.ptgui.com/
not a freeware :

Order PTGui

If you want to continue to use PTGui after the free 30 day trial period, you
are required to buy a license for the software.
Single user license

A single user license for the current version of PTGui costs EURO 49 (about
US$55 depending on exchange rate). This includes free downloadable updates
for at least one year after your order.

I'd start here for PanoTools:

NOTE:
The author of the site also sells a frontend for PanoTools similar to
PTGui...

BUT, he also provides for free- an updated/bug fixed version of
PanoTools.

Updated / modified PanoTools [ Windows ]:

....
What's different about this version?
The version of Panorama Tools that you can download here differs from
Helmut Dersch's "official" version in several respects:

It includes some modifications that were made to fix several bugs in
Helmut's code.

It includes some modifications that Helmut made to his own code, but
never officially released.
