If you are a freeware developer wanting to boost your freeware downloads for
free, submit your freeware to our brand-spanking-new freeware directory -
the freeList. Things are a little slow at the moment but when word gets
round I am hoping this will be a big success. I know myself as a freeware
developer how hard it can be to get your freeware advertised but I have made
submission as easy as possible with one simple form.

Visit www.cree8uk.freeserve.co.uk for more info and click on freeList

Thanks

The "Browse freeware by Category" option links to a list of categories.
When user clicks a category, he gets the message, "Sorry. No results
were found matching your search term. Please try refining your search."
That would be because he is trying to "Browse freeware by Category",
*not* do a search.

the browse category function searches all freeware for the same category,
while the search function only searches the keywords. this saves me from
having to update a number of files to add new software, only the core
keyword/category database needs to be done.
the reason nothing is coming up is because very little has been submitted
yet! this is why I haved asked some people to submit their freeware in
order to 'break the ice' and get it going.

In other words, it won't browse because there's no software? I tried
browsing all/most of the available categories.
