Easier just to go here:

http://www.zap2it.com/index

And yes, I know that it's not freeware. However, it's the best way to
get tv scheduling that I've found.

Except that FreeGuide can be used offline, has no ads, and is more
customizable than Zap2it. I also prefer its interface, although that's a
matter of personal preference. FreeGuide is somewhat pokey, though.

From this page:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeguide-tv/

the following:

"It uses the XMLTV tools to grab listings for lots of different
countries."

From this page:

http://membled.com/work/apps/xmltv/

the following:

" At present there are backends grabbing TV listings for Canada, the
USA, the UK, Germany, Austria, Finland, New Zealand, Spain, Italy, the
Netherlands, Hungary, and Denmark."

I'll stick with the site I mentioned. It's information is configurable
too, and is exactly what's being broadcast. I don't have cable or any
of that other kind of fancy stuff, but if I did that site would cover
it. YMMV.
