Seems a decent deal for a basic free site. Tools included!

it looks good but it only comes with 100mb on bandwidth which would limit the site you host on it. Bandwidth n certain sites can be used up very quickly and that is probably where the company will make money, charging for more of it.

CFC has hit the nail on the head there, 2.5GB of space but only 100MB of bandwidth (the total ammount you can transfer in any month).

I've not used it myself, but MS office live appear to offer a free domain and free hosting (the basic package):

yeah fine for a faimly site aslong as the site traffic isnt that high and there arent for instance loads of large image files downloaded and uploaded to the site
