Pricelessware has Freedom of Association at
(http://www.pricelessware.org/2002/pricelesswarefileutilities.htm), but
I couldn't get it to download. The links seemed to be dead. Does anyone
have any idea about where to find this program?

Or does anyone have any suggestions about another program to manage file
associations in Windows XP? It was the darnedest thing. I wanted to use
Media Player Classic to play *.mpg files, but the "open with" command
wouldn't take it. I had to got to folder options > file types, and I was
able to change it there. So I got to wondering if there were any neat
programs to facilitate this process.

Thanks, Ben

FYI - *PL2002* is an *archive* - the links are not current. Note: FOA is
a PCmag program - they are no longer free.

*PL2004* is being selected - check out the File Utilities page:

perhaps: OpenExpert

You might take a look at WAssociate.

Good luck.

Ben,

Freedom of Association is being posted in alt.binaries.freeware right now.

A post by the league for stuffing the greedy ZDiotic spammers, I believe.
