I seen people on ebay who are saying that you can get a free copy of
frontpage 2003 if you pay them and they will give you the microsoft site to
order and just pay shipping. Does anyone know where this site is? The people
selling this info have a really good feedback rating for people who have
purchased from them so I assume that they are getting the product.

The only "free" FP 2003 available from MicroSoft was the trial version, and
it is no longer available. Why would you pay someone to give you a public
link to something that's free. Looks like a scam to me.

I am not sure but their are a few powersellers that are offering this and
from the feedback they are getting on ebay which are mostly positive feedback
ratings I assumed there was a site. They specify that you have to sign up for
a passport account and that the product comes directly from microsoft.

Hi gadixie.
I don't know a lot about web pages, but I do know this: You get what you
pay for.
I have seen sites where you can download programs for 'free', and I have
even downloaded some programs to try out. Trouble is, there is usually a
registeration code for advanced programs, like FP, and you either don't get
the code, or it is registered to someone else, so it doesn't work properly.
I shopped around, and even tried downloading a free HTML WYSIWYG program.
It wasn't a pirate program, but a site that legitimately offers their product
for free. Trouble is, it didn't work, there is no uninstall option, and the
dll files are protected, so I can't get their 'junk' off of my computer now.
Check the price of other programs and I think you'll find FP is a bargain.
One tip: Search FP on your computer. Wall Mart usually has the cheapest
price, and if you print their page, and Office Depot's page showing the
price, either will match the other's price when you take the pages in to buy
the program. I saved $60 bucks on FP 2003 at Office Depot doing this.

I would have to see one of those pages you are referring to.

If you go to Micorosft.com, you can place orders there. You don't need
somone to charge you go to to Microsoft.

In any event, FrontPage 2003 trial, and FrontPage 2003 software is no longer
available from Microsoft. They have discontinued selling FrontPage 2003.

Now, there is a free public "beta" of Expressions, which is taking the place
of FrontPage sometime next year.

Thanks for the comment on the free bus ride but I have signed up in diffrent
sections of microsoft and have gotten products where I only had to pay the
shipping. They were full versions.
I just could not find this one.
