Dear All,

I am looking for a free application for creating "Text with Shadow", in
order to give an amused touch to the web sites.

Thanks in advance,

Marc

If I understand your question correctly, you need a graphics prog that
can produce "drop shadow" effects, whigh are produced as a graphic (gif
usually), and inserted into a web page.

I use Paint Shop Pro, and am not personally aware of reeware, but you
might find one of the graphics eds on Pricelessware will do

http://pricelessware.org/thelist/gra.htm

From a look at this tutorial

http://park18.wakwak.com/~pixia/uran/line/top.htm

It looks as though Pixia will do what you want (in fact, if it works as
advertised, it looks remarkably good value, but I have to say I've never
met a freeware graphics prog that worked for me.

(I know that will bring howls of rage from Gimp supporters, but I found
Gimp buggy and crashy - YMMV)

If that indeed is what he wantns, he could use PhotoFiltre, which can
do a lot with texts (drop shadows amongst the options).

Dear All,
Hi All,

thank you very much for your advices!

Danlk, the resource is very interesting, even though, in last analyses the
font should be also installed into the visitors' computer. Anyway thanks for
you tip!

Mike, that's right, I am looking for a "drop shadow" effect, usually it is
an image with gif or pnb extention. I have an old Paint Shop Pro (ver. 6)
expired application, which it is still working, (Idon't know why, but it
works yet), nevertheless I must say that with this kind of software I am an
expert.

Last week, I fond out an HTML editor, which was also an attached application
for creating smart "drop shadow" effects ed textures, unfortunately it's a
30
days trial only. I don't know what will happen after the trial time, I would
like to find freeware ones, otherwise, I will format my second old computer
on a month basis :-)

I will better google or using other search engines.

Have a good time!
