I don't have Vista, nor do I have any plans to, so therefore I offer up this free software as 'untested' :D
This is what they say about their product

Tweak V.1 - The first software designed to both tweak and optimize Windows Vista.

Tweak hundreds of hidden features of Windows Vista, optimize your machine and customize it to your needs.

The best tweaking software ever!

Sorry, no disrespect to you the poster but ...

I issue an advance warning on this type of software ... it can do no more than you can do for yourself. It is "subscription based" that means, you are gonna keep paying out good money on something you can do for free.

By using the freeware version you only have access to Windows Vista utilities, such as Device Manager, Performance Manager, Registry Editor, System Restore, Security and Firewall Manager, Disk Manager and Defragmentation, File Sharing or Task Scheduler. You will also be able to view and edit system configuration files such as boot.ini, system.ini, win.ini, autoexec.nt and config.nt. But as the developer warns, changing one of these files can inflict to serious problems to your operating system.

You can already do all the above for yourself.

I'm already seeing people asking for advice on how to fix something they broke using this type of program in Vista.

It's your money ... I would suggest learning more about your operating system if you want to tweak or break it. ;)

I offered it in good faith as a freebie that I have not tried out personally...
They do say on the website that the 'basic' download is free.

I hope people do take heed of your warnings, though :)

No problem, I'm glad you did post it ... if I thought for one minute it was too dangerous, I would simply have deleted the link. ;)

It "sounds" good, but I assure all, initially it don't do anything you can't already do yourself. You then Pay for the "add-ones" for more powerful "tweaks" which I grant will/can make your job a little easier, but you can still D-I-Y @ no cost. :thumb:
