free swap file space

could anyone help me to free swap file space on my hard drive to run games i need 280mb. i tried rebooting comp but it never worked. plz help thanx
 
you can increase the size of the swap file or put it on
another drive if you have one.
Right click My computer and go to properties,
Advanced/system/settings/advanced
Under virtual Memory click change.
Recommended initial size is 1.5 times your installed
Memory,
maximum = 3 times your Memory.
