and after you have tried the freeware one, take a look on Ebay for DIP
10 and maybe even DIP2006 and the prices may be so low or may have
rebate offers that you will move up to the MS DIP series of image
editors and find you can do more witha great program for little cash
outlay.
Oh, a couple of other freeware ones inlcude GIMP and Photofiltre.
One limitation of many freeware image editors is the lack of the
ability to do constrained cropping of images. With both Photofiltre and
PhotoPlus 6.0, I could not find a way to do this.
With DIP 10 also, many plugin that are available work quite nicely and
the quick fix tool is terrific.
