Hello,

Yesterday, i saw a message sent with free SMTP server

which at least, *i* didn't wrote ! so i'm suspecting
this application to be spyware. There is no log file to track
activity, -and i have sereval OE accounts setup, the default
account is not this one from free SMTP : So if i would have
another spyware on my PC, it would use the default account to
send mail.
Spybot don't see the culprit... How would you resolve this ?

thanks, laurent

Many free mail apps include a text tag like that. Don't worry.
If Spybot and other such apps find nothing, it's because nothing
is there to worry about. Check if the mail app has an option to
not include the tag -- it may be a simple preference setting.

Thank you ; but for info, it was not a text tag, it was a whole
message which was in the tray window for being sent, just few seconds,
so i couldn't notice anything :)
BTW i have an OPENSTRA virus in a java folder... but micro trend
housecall now works with a ticket system, which i'm not happy
with...
