I buy my paper from Red River. http://www.redrivercatalog.com/
They provide printer specific profiles. I had horrible results when I
attempted to use
one of their downloadable profiles with my Epson 2200. I wonder if I'm
doing something wrong?
Here is how they tell you set your printer for their 65 LB. Polar Art:
Parameter Required Setting
--------------------------------------------------
Paper Setting Watercolor Paper Radiant White
Quality 1400dpi
Color Management NO Color Adjustments <===Not sure
what this means?
High Speed OFF
Edge Smoothing OFF
Black Ink Installed Matte Black
Ok, I think I understand all the above. My screen was calibrated using
Monaco EZ color.
I not sure what they mean by "NO Color Adjustments" in the above table.
I attempted it with color management turned off and turned on. Both ways my
color proof is way too pink and dull!
Has anyone had good luck using Profiles from Red River or are they just a
cruel joke
