Free PC to Telephone Calls

I think not. A couple of years ago, part of my rationalization for getting
DSL was that it would decrease my long-distance bill. At that time there
were several places, like Dialpad.com. But the free services all seem to
have bit the dust.

It would appear that this is the case, web searching doesn't bring up
anything new:-( I know this is off topic, but is there a web site that
has calls on a pay as you go basis, rather than a subscription rate?
