Seems awful slow to me compared with Firefox. What do you think?

I didn't notice any relative slowness at all on my 1.8 ghz PC with 256
meg RAM. It loads in a small fraction of a second and seems to render
pages as quickly as other browsers. It's Mozilla that I notice being
slightly slower in loading compared to other browsers. But it seems
they're all quite fast on this PC, and speed is no longer a issue.

Hmmm...must be something on my end. I get the exact opposite result. Thanks.

Looks like there's still time left for "safe hexers" to get a free
registration for Opera:

The latest version 8.02 has no known security vulnerabilities so
far as I can find.

yep, been there done that, oh and btw, if you put in multiple email addys
you can get multiple registration numbers just in case you want to put it on
multiple pc's or if they go back to charging for it, it is conceivable and
dare I say legal to get multiple reg num's and give some to your friends for
when they are no longer free, hmm I have over 25 reg num's now, and if I
were to use *all* my email addys, well I won't want to be *too* greedy after
all 25 is enough of something I most likely won't use any way.
