Hi,
I asked earlier about free newsreaders available which were of similar
configurability to Gravity, but more up to date.
I have for the moment settled on Mesnews and I am fairly impressed with
it, though it still has a few raw edges.
It is very graphic, can be configured to work on-line (automatically
updating headers) or off-line, automatically marks up any threads you
reply to, multiple news servers, multi colour quoting and supports
several languages.
It is still being developed, but the raw edges I have found are that it
uses a random quote prefix which is in French, the search facility
takes some understanding and I still don't quite understand it.
If anyone has found a work around for the above I would be grateful.
