Can I constrain the lines of free form shape to 45 as I used to do in
powerpoint 2003 ?

I believe if you hold down the shift key while drawing, it constrains the
lines to 15 degree increments. 3 x 15 = 45 so you can do 45s as well.

Pressing Shift doesn't seem to have any effect on freeform drawing in 2007
the way it did in 2003. (Grrr.) I'd keep PPT 2003 around for drawing shapes
where this ability is needed.

In 2007? Apparently not. Help doesn't mention it, the usual keys don't work.
