Are there any places that offer free clip art that I can download onto my
computer? I'm looking for something that I can use to make web sites look a
little more fun and interesting.

Clipart is not freeware.

ClipArt links

WordNet Dictionary
Definition: [n] software that is provided without charge.
Personally, I think it's close enough to discuss here.
Top posting fixed.

I gave the guy what he wanted. That was what I did personally.
Clipart is NOT close enough to discuss here unless framed [OT]. We have
enough problems with the definition of real freeware not to say "close
enough".
Unless you want to troll me some more, discussion over.

Thanks from me too...that'll help a lot.

Thank you for the link. Sorry for the off topic post, I'm new here.

There are many such sites. If you do a Google search for "free clipart"
you'll be wading through hits for hours.

If you have any schooling in graphic design you will invariably find that
clipart is practically useless. A great filler for giveaway CDs. After
wading through literally thousands of images there maybe an image that
nearly suits your purpose - but it needs editing. So you have to modify it.
This involves the skills that would allow you to create the perfect graphic
in the first place. Unless you want the cheesy look then snap it, scan it,
edit it but above all make it uniquely yours.
Kind regards
Trevor
