You usually get the water free and that is the main ingredient

I made my own beer for over 25 years and very nice it was too

I stopped when I became single again, actually went teetotal for a year, but have been thinking about starting again.

Trouble is, there's only online homebrew equipment suppliers now, time was when there were lots of homebrew shops and you could also buy the stuff from Boots the chemist.

Also made a lot of my own wine in days of yore, both from grape extracts and fresh produce, such as beetroot, elderberries, apples and lots more.
