What is the best (free if possible)Backup or copy program For Windows 98SE.


I recommend Cobain Backup. Not perfect, but way better than the rest.

If you want something simple and don't mind a bit of command line work, try
xxcopy.

xxcopy C:\xxx D:\xxx /backup

It will then copy only the files that have changed. Fast and works like a
charm.

xxcopy has over 150 switches. You can do most anything with it, including
cloning an operating system.
