company's disk drives from 22 March 2001, through 15 February 2006.

The software is EMC Dantz Retrospect Express version 7.5 for Windows
users and version 6.1 for Mac users.

My bad. That's the PROFESSIONAL version at Amazon.

Makes more sense now. It's probably more of a marketing ploy by
Dantz than anything Western Digital is doing for customers.
 
Its actually the completely superfluous proof that the US legal
system has been completely off the rails for centurys now.
