Hi all! Does anyone know of a free antivirus software running in Mac OS
9 and Mac OS X? Thanks for your kind response.

The only ones I know of is Disinfectant 3.7.1 and Agax, but I believe both
are for system 6 & 7 http://www.pure-mac.com/virus.html
Update: Axix will work only under Mac os X's classic mode. Disinfectant has
been discontinued some years ago.

Maybe you can get a free deban -under-the-hood antivirus?

Wait... You can take a look at this, you guinea pig ;-)

Evern if you don't trust the beta, according to a Dutch Apple macintosh
group, it is still the least expensive one.

Futhermore you might tak a look at wormscanner

Fortunately, except for the word/excel macro virusess, macintosh only has a
few of them...

Hope it has been something of a help anyway
