Free Anti-virus program, firewall and other programs from MS

If you poke around on microsoft.com you will find an offer of a CD-ROM
(actually 2) with the latest Win2K, a firewall and eTrust EZAntivirus, free
for a full year. I liked eTrust products on a single machine, but when I
had to keep it up on 3 machines, the bookkeeping got unbearable. Every
product has a different key on every machine for every year. And eTrust
(Computer Associates) couldn't keep straight which was which and update
notices kept going to the wrong systems.

Yes EZAV subs are a pain. So unfriendly I suspect it is deliberate to
protect the turf of CA Antivirus. Doing competitors a favour too.
