A while back, someone steered us to a free Anti-Trojan program that's in
beta testing. It was sort of OK, but I lost it and forget the name even.
Google turns up nada. Anyone remember the name of have the URL?

Thanks,

Bob

a² free.............tested with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98 SE,
Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003

"don't use it as a primary scanner (yet). There are 2 main reasons:

1. Only the weak fingerprints are implemented as signatures at the moment.
It will take time to build up the strong signatures .
2. Several malware types like worms or older trojans aren't implemented yet.

There will be a big "Hello here I am" as soon as all signatures are
implemented"

yeah...you give 'em an email address....for the purpose of..& ONLY the
purpose of-->........ you get sent an activation code ........sure tuckered
me out......I needed a nap after I installed it.
If you're gonna complain about something..at least complain about something
worth complaining about.

Ok.........if you're worried that Andreas Haak.......who has developed 2
free Anti-trojan programs in his young career..this one being the successor
to ANTS....is gonna spam you or sell your address to mailing lists...then
sign up for some webbased email address that you don't care about. There are
hundreds of them. I can understand your worry.....but it would be a shame if
you didn't get the only free AT that's out there now, admittedly not yet
ready to be your #1 AT scanner...but hopefully, on the way.

Yeah, right, like Andreas is really going to sell your addy. Aside from that
absolute fact, if you don't agree with the method of product activation then
don't use the product.

ABSOLUTELY AN UNTRUTHFUL STATEMENT. I've used Ad-Aware since 1999
without ONE minute problem whatsoever.
