Free A/V for an old sys w/ 24Mb RAM ?

Is there a free A/V with some type of resident protection that would
run okay on a very old presario with 24Mb of RAM and (stripped-down)
Win ME?

I tried AVG 6, but it sure seems to suck an awful lot out of that 24Mb

Or should I just give up hope on resident protection and grab F-Prot
for DOS just so's theres *something?
