Hi all,
Some of my users home folders have tmp files being created with 0 bytes but
not closing out. I have traced it down to it is when the user logs on. I
know that it has something to do with permissions somewhere but I'm not sure
where. I think that it is either the users home folder or the server drive
that they are connecting to.
Could someone tell me the appropiate rights for exampLe:
d:\ on the server (this would be a partition) This drive would be mapped so
that the users connect through the mapping (example P:\ mapping to a shared
folderon the d: drive).
so what would the rights need to be on the d: drive partition?
Thanks in advance for any help

Hi all,
I have solved my issue with the tmp files. According to a posting I saw
here, it suggested that you do not allow Full control rights for the user on
their home folder so I changed the user to modify rights. This is what
caused all the .tmp files to show up. The user must have full control on his
home folder to save the frd.tmp files (they must be a system file).
Just for info in case someone else read the post to change to modify.
