Frame Duration

I am making a 70 photo slideshow with music and video effects-no transitions.
When creating and running, the timing is perfect however when I save to my
computer and playback the music is out of sync. There is one part about
midway where I want the frame duration to be 3.75 seconds rather than the
default 5 seconds. This is where the problem is. I went back and changed
the default through options to a 3 second and then another .75 duration.
Didn't work- I have tried about 30 different takes to save and nothing has
worked. Tried changing the very first frame to compensate for the
difference, making 3 one second and on .75 second frames and numerous other
combos. I have run out of ideas and need help! It is critical in this
project that I can make this work (sync music to photo as it appears) and
assume that since we are able to set the duration on the video track that it
should be easy. Help!
 
In the timeline view, zoom all the way in (the pg up and pg down keyboard
keys are handy for zooming).

Be sure to seeing the audio track and the wave patterns in it.

Between grabbing the right edge of the picture and using the trim handle to
change it's duration, and noting the wave patterns, you should be able to
get it spot-on.... without resorting to the default setting of the picture
duration.

FWIW...

The duration change at...Tools / Options / Advanced tab...
only affect photos added to the timeline "after" the change
is made.

As PapaJohn alluded to...adjust the individual durations by
placing your pointer on the edge of a photo in the timeline
and drag the double red arrow...you'll see a tooltip that
reflects the change.
