I was planning on using the FPNW service on a 2K server. My plan was to
synch the directories, migrate the files, install FPNW and call the FPNW
server service the same name as the Netware server. This way, no one would
be any the wiser and I could change workstation client settings at my
leisure.
I have some problems though, maybe someone could shed some light.
1. When I try to log on from a Win98 machine using Novell's client, it
complains about the tree / context. I delete these values and I am able to
log in.
2. When I change the FPNW service server name from servername_fpnw to
netwarename, the client machine can not find / log into the server.
When I leave the default settings in place, everything works fine; just not
the way I want it too....
Any ideas?
Thanks
