Hi,

I have a Windows 2000 Pro machine with Fp2003 installed.

I am trying to get the fileupload component working in my webform, but I
cannot right-click the new destination folder, and then click Properties on
the shortcut menu.

How do I know I have FP2002 extensions installed onto my machine's IIS5.0?

skc

Windows 2000 and Windows XP Pro come with FP2000 extensions. You can check this by opening a web in
FP via http://localhost and the using Tools Menu | Web / Site Setting and 4.0.. means FP2000
extensions and 5.0.. means FP2002 extensions.

OK. How do you explain the fact that when I right-click the directory that
will contain the uploaded files, the tick boxes are greyed out?

Are you working in a server based web (http://...) and not a disc based web (C:\...)
See http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;299763&Product=fp2002

When I right-click the destination directory to set the permissions for
"allow scripts or programs to be run" all the tick boxes are greyed out!

You didn't answer the question
Are you working in a server based web (http://...) and not a disc based web (C:\...)
