Hi. My client's web site has a folder full of sub-folders and jpegs
files. It's no longer on my local copy and I'd like to have it removed.
I'm surprised that the publish web option didn't remove it. Could be I
asked it not to, don't remember. How do I now remove this folder off
the web site? Is there a resync option?

If both copies of the web were in sync at the time you published using the Change Pages only option
via http, it should have been deleted. However just open the site in FP and delete the folder, then
publish down to your local.

I've always opened the local copy, made chances, then publish changes to
the web site. Are you saying I can open the web site itself from FP?
How? If I open the web site, I can publish back to the local copy?

File Menu | Open Web and enter your URL as: http://www.domainname.com then your login info, click
OK, then click Open

The to publish, File Menu | Publish Web and the URL as: c:\existing web location.

File->Open Web (Site in FP2003)
Type in your remote site URL in the form http://example.com (exactly
the same as the publish destination)
Confirm UserId and Password

To publish back - File->Publish Web/Site
Type in the address as C:\myweb, or the path to your web on your PC.

Hmmm. So when I'm ready for the new folder of images, I'll just open
the web site and remove the entire old folder. Thanks a lot...Dennis
