FP Server Extensions

Please understand that I am new to this. I inherited a server hosting a
couple of High School sites on a virtual machine. The sites are running but
cannot be edited. I was told that it was a FP extension issue. Where do I
start?

Is there a server admin? If so, see if they'll do it.
