FP-Page Transition Effect

I do not have any problem in IE. It's smooth for me. However, the
transition effect does *not* work in Firefox.
Beware of your JAVA applet, as not all computers have JAVA installed unless
they have manually installed it.

To be more specific the flash or jump is visible in the Logo / Image at the
top of the page and happens just before the transition occurs. The
transition itself is smooth. Is some sort of processing of the page occuring
just before the transition that is visible on my IE?

I still don't see any problem when I view it.

I see it, just barely when the page loads or more so if I refresh the page.
If I remember correctly it's called CSS flash,

One "workaround" is to place any empty link or empty script element in the head section of
the page like this:
<link>
or
<script>

No guarantee though.

That said I have two comments.
You have a ton of inline styles for the cells in the page that are used repeatedly.
You might consider creating an external style sheet with a class for each different style
and then applying the class to the cells in your page.

New machines do not have Java Virtual Machine installed by default. Users have to go to
Sun Java and download and install it.
Fro those that haven't done this, your java image swaps will not work.
