FP Not responding

When using FP to open a web that is located on an ISP
server I am able to log-in successfully, but then my PC
hangs (cpu goes to 100% and FP stops responding. No error
message is received. This problem just started two days
ago. I am able to use FP on this PC to successfully open
other web sites. Also I can use other computers with FP
to successfully open and edit the web site that causes the
FP hang, so it doesn't appear to be a problem with the
host server. I reinstalled the server extensions but it
had no effect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled FP
several times which doesn't clear the problem. I also
used system restore back to an earlier date when FP was
working properly but this doesn't stop the FP hang
problem. The PC with the problem runs Windows XP. What
is causing this and how do I fix it? Thank you.

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS Office
