FP layout fix didn't work- help!

I tried it and it still isn't working. I have the folders
in the left pane and the folders and files in the right
pane with headings of name, title,size,type,modified
date, modified type and contents and when I make a new
page, the folders disappear and only the view bar and the
new page are displayed. What else can I try?

The file-and-folder display you're seing on the right is
called Folders view.

The view of a new page (or any other page you open for
editing) is called Page view.

Because Folders view and Page view occupy the same
portion of the FrontPage window, you can't display both
at the same time. But you *can* switch between them by
clicking the Page icon or the Folders icon in the Views
bar at the far left of the FrontPage Window.

If you really want to look at Page view and Folders view
simultaneously, choose New Window from the Windows menu.
This creates a second FrontPage Window, so one can
display Page view and the other can display Folders view.

really what you need to do is go to view, click PAGE
VIEW, then click FOLDER LIST, and do not use folders
VIEW... This should display both the folders and
singular files in the left hand pane (entitled folder
list).
