FP Email forms will not work, server prob too

I had this problem with a previous web host in the past but was fixed but
took a lot of looking into on his part. im on a new server now and although
it has worked in the past on this one and i KNOW that im doing everything
right on my end, the FP email forms are no longer working. I am trying to
find what information i can that i can tell those that run my server that
could give them some clue being they have no idea either. they have looked
into the FP error logs and said that they show nothing either. Ive also
tried removing and reinstalling the extensions, reuploading the page,
reuploading the site also. here is the error...

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details.

this comes up after hitting the SUBMIT button when it should be the
confirmation page. What can i tell my web host to look for in correcting
this problem?
 
Remove the email address from the form and test it to see if the form works (save to file in the _private folder) w/o Email
If it doesn't it is a FP SE problem (have the host do a server health check for the SE)
If it does add the email back in
- if it fails it is a server SMTP problem (or your host does not allow email addresses outside of your server)

Hi Greg,

The "FrontPage Error" can indicate a problem with extensions or form
properties.

If the extensions have been reinstalled, make sure you aren't using FTP to
transfer the page.

You might also try recalculating hyperlinks to see if that makes a
difference. Aside from that, a URL for the form page might help.
