FP connection window

I have a new computer, (I didn't have this problem b4 on my old computer),
when I try to connect to the server to connect to my websites and I enter the
user name and password and click ok, all that happens is that the connect
window reappears. It doesn't connect or give me an error message. I must be
doing something wrong, but I have no idea what it can be.
