FP 98/2003 to a new computer?

We recently purchased a new computer with the Vista operating system,
including Service Pack 1, only to find out that we must have downloaded
FrontPage 98 from the web, then purchased a CD upgrade to FP 2003. Now we'd
like to make the switch to Expression Web, but are running into a few
problems.

Front Page 2003 won't load on the new computer because we can't get FP98
transferred from the old computer (and FP 2003 doesn't seem to like Vista).
So what is our best option to get everything transferred to our new computer
and then switch the website over to Expression?

At this point, we have hooked the old computer back up so I can get our
website updated until we figure all of this out. The old computer is a Dell
from 2003-04 and was running Windows XP {and running VERY SLOWLY}. Our
website is www.LTForensicExperts.com, if that is relevant.

I don't have a technical background, and only know enough to be dangerous
and do some basic WYSIWYG design on the website. So any guidance/support
would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

You do not have to install FP 98 on the computer. Run the FP 2003 upgrade,
when it asks for a qualifying program, put in the FP 98 CD.

If you are going to use Expression, why bother to even put FrontPage on the
computer?

Unfortunately we don't have a CD for FP 98, since we downloaded it from the
web, which seems to be an issue at this point. Any other suggestions on how
to get Front Page onto the new computer without having the FP 98 CD?

The company that hosts our site is upgrading and won't be supporting FP
extensions anymore either, so we need to make some changes on our end.
Expression seems like a logical choice for our needs.

You can't install an upgrade of FP 2003without an original media. You're
out of luck. If you're going with Expression, now is the time to do it..you
won't need FP 2003.

There is only a "full version". However, from a marketing standpoint, they
can call it an upgrade, even though you don't need FP 2003 disk.
