FP 2003 won't import from Excel?

I've been a FrontPage user for a long time...just
upgraded to 2003. As I started to import an Excel
spreadsheet into a web page, which I've done thousands of
times before, I find that the option to open Excel
spreadsheets no longer exists...? If you try to open one
while setting the file type to All Files *.*, you get
some error about it can't load some strangely
named .xls...

Is it possible that MS removed the ability to import an
Excel spreadsheet into FP? I can't believe that such a
thing would cross anyone's mind...so I'm hoping there's
maybe something wrong with my configuration. Any help is
much appreciated.

....it won't even format tables/cells the same way as the
XP version! Using the exact same settings from an
existing table on a new table WILL NOT produce the same
results as the old version - and I cannot find any way to
make them look the same at all! This is a trainwreck!

Did you ever resolve this? We began expreriencing this same error this past
Summer. Thanks - Lainie
