Help!!
I installed last Technical refresh on my Office2003 beta
(OS is w2000).
And as result - FP can't start.

FRONTPAGE.EXE - Entry Point Not Found.
Entry point ?udc_location_sts_url@cudcdoc@ddw@@2qbgb
could not be located in the dynamic link library fpcutl.dll

fpcutl.dll really has been changed during upgrade.
Any idea?

Rgrds,

Did you try uninstalling the "refresh"

If you were also running MSO 2003 did you also install the TR for it, before the FP TR

Hi...

This method worked for me having exactly the same problem...

1. I removed my original copy of FP2003 beta 2.
2. I re-installed my original copy of FP2003 beta 2.
3. *** I disabled *** Norton Antivirus 2003 (part of my Norton SystemWorks
2003) by right-clicking on the NAV icon in the system tray and told it to
"disable Norton Antivirus". The NAV icon then had a red "X" through it.
4. I went back to the Microsoft Office 2003 site and did the technical
refresh scan and it recognized that Front Page 2003 technical refresh had
**not** been downloaded and installed.
5. I told it to download and install the FP 2003 technical refresh.
6. I did, and it WORKED!!!

The only difference between the bad first time, and the good second time was
disabling Norton Antivirus.

Hope this works for you...

HI Andy,
Thanks for the suggestion, but disabling NAV and re-installing/repairing
FrontPage 2003 Beta 2 did not fix the problem.

Has anyone else found a solution? TIA.

Thanks Andy. Unfortunately, disabling NAV and reinstalling/repairing FP2003
Beta 2 didn't fix the problem.

Has anyone else had success fixing this problem? TIA!

+Tom
