FP 2002 FTP with new router - Port blocking problem

I have been using FP 2002 for a while with no problems at all. We recently
had to install a new router on our LAN (Netgear super wireless adsl router)
due to adsl problems. We do not use a proxy server. I can no longer publish
web changes to any FTP websites I manage. Those that accept http as a
publishing address are fine. This indicates a port blocking problem with the
new router but I have been unable to find info saying which port/s I need to
allow FP access to. Does anyone please have any ideas? I have tried search MS
site but nothing so far. Thanks in advance.

FTP needs port 21.

Thanks Steve
'Outgoing' FTP on port 21 is not a problem. I can login to the remote server
and see the web files. I just cannot publish new or changed files. Apparently
FP uses 2 ports to communicate, 21 and one other which is undefined and this
is causing the problem.

It is possible that your firewall requires FTP to be used in Passive
mode - many firewalls do. FP2002 does not support passive mode. Your
options (if this is the case) are to upgrade to FP2003, or to use a
third party FTP client, such as CuteFTP.
Internet Explorer can also be used as an FTP client. To set Passive
mode in IE go to
Tools->Internet Options - Advanced Tag, and scroll down to check the
box "Use Passive FTP ... "
