FP 2000 & Norton Anti Virus 03

Had a problem with Frontpage 2000 on a Windows XP Pro not being able to
preview in browser simple ASP pages.

Got really fustrated and wiped the hard drive, reinstalled windows and FP...
asp works.... then installed Norton Anti Virus 2003... asp stills works....
live update for Norton .... asp stops working.... uninstall Norton.... now
get no web server on port 80..... Restart IIS .... still no luck..... Norton
is killing me.... help.

You need to configure Norton to allow scripts or something similar.

never had a problem with McAfee. or ZoneAlarm or the combination of both at
the same time.
 
For what it's worth I have no issue with Norton 2003 and FP 2002. I don't
have a copy of FP 2000 lying around to test with. Did you recently install
Win 2K SP4 as well? I've heard of from some folks that they had to
uninstall/reinstall IIS to get it to function correctly after applying SP4.

ZoneAlarm screwed up access to my server and just will not install any anti
virus application today, I have tried them all at some point when I was
running Windows 98. However with the way I have my network configured, I
don't need them or ZoneAlarm, etc.
