Hi,
I have a simple webpage that has 11 separate pages in it
with the MAIN page being named "index.html" On this page
I have inserted a hit counter. When I click a link to go
to one of the other pages and then click a link on the
new page that takes me back to "home", my counter number
has increased. Is there any way to prevent this since I
only want to count my entry into the website ONE
time ??
I was wondering if there is a way to "LOCK" a home page
like "index.html" into place so that each time that I
link back to it, the page doesn't have to be refreshed.
If this can be done, my problem would be solved..
I am a novice at this, but am having a lot of fun with
it. If anyone can give me any suggestions, I would
appreciate it very much.
Thanks,
Larry H.
