FP 2000 crashes with "save as" or "save new page"

When working live with one of my hosts, FP 2000 crashes
every time I attempt a "save as" or try to save a new
page. I can upload a file with a new name but not those
two things.

Funny thing, when working live with another one of my
hosts, FP works like a charm, as it does when working
offline.

My host claims it's not their fault.

Any ideas?? Doesn't seem right I should have to find work-
arounds for very prominent features.

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE

(especially #5)

I wish it were that easy! The error window says something
about memory being referenced that isn't there. Anybody
have any other ideas? I found some references to this
online so I know it's happened to people before; just
couldn't find any solutions.
