FP 2000 client is crashing when trying to save pages to
our server. This happens only in a specific combination
of one of our Webs being accessed by two of our PC
clients. On a PC where the crash happens, FP will work
fine when opening other Webs. And when the "problem" Web
is opened from a different PC, FP works without
problems.
This issue sounds like a problem I had long ago with FP
cache files becoming corrupted on certain PCs. The
solution then was to search for and delete all *.WEB
files from the Windows 2000 PC where the trouble took
place. I've tried that this time, but have not found any
*.WEB files. Could this be because the computers with
the problems are Windows XP systems, and the FP cache is
stored differently? Or could this be an entirely
different issue?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
